Welcome to the Speaking Exam Resource Page
The GCSE speaking exam is an oral consolidation of the student's Arabic knowledge developed over the five years of teaching (ie. from year 7 through to year 11), used to assess the ability to express oneself using the language.
I have designed a few resources to aid those students taking their GCSE exam to choose the topics that they want to address, and to give them an idea of what they can talk about. Some of the resources are texts, whilst others are in the form of question and answer. It is important that the student understands the question, as well as having concise and detailed answers in order to obtain the highest mark possible.
The speaking unit of the the GCSE is generally that which students achieve higher marks in, especially those students who prepare themselves well in advance and those who practice.
In regards to some of the topics you will find on this page, I have uploaded a number of documents - however, over time I hope to upload some more.
With the hope that you will find these resources useful as a student or teacher...
